Claire & Brandon – Kingwood Wedding Photographer

There are no words to describe this wedding. It’s not about the grandor or any of the “things” or spaces that come with a traditional wedding, this is the wedding of my second shooter. She has shot several hundred weddings with me over the past 7 years and she wanted hers to be totally and complete unique and different than any other wedding we had ever shot or seen. So in perfect Claire style she did it her way. She wanted a wedding in their family church and an intimate reception at her family home which she grew up in here in Kingwood. Then Harvey happened and the oldest tree in their yard came down, but that didn’t stop them and the plans they had for turning the house into a wonderland of lights and sounds. From the one-of-a-kind yellow antique diamond ring, to the skirt of her dress made from her mothers dress, to the gourmet pizza and VW photobooth, each detail imagined and created an absolutely magical day. Rachel May coordinated the day and did an amazing job pulling together the perfect look for a perfect couple. There is no great honor then to photography someone you love and I was thrilled to have this privilege of capture their love. Enjoy!

St Mary’s Cathedral Galveston Wedding Photographer – Amanda & Matt

What a fun couple and wedding party. Amanda is a stunning bride with a dress that was too die for!  Matt is a Houston Fire Fighter and the life of the party. Together they created an over the top fun wedding!  Family and friend were spread out over Galveston Island and so we popped around to get all the images. And then to St. Mary’s for the ceremony. Thank goodness for my wonderful second Tony Chica for keeping me together on this hot summer day and his fabulous wide angle shots.

Take a look at the groom’s gifts to his men!  And no they were not loaded… we got clearance from Treemount before we steped out of the room to grab some cool shots of Matt and his boys.

The celebration continued at the Roof Garden on the Strand and ended with a carriage ride away. Enjoy!
